Kansas City Scout (MoDot, KDOT, FHWA, MARC)

The Kansas City Scout project is an Intelligent Transportation System that will provide real-time traffic flow information, dynamic message signage, closed-circuit television surveillance and a ramp metering system to the Greater Kansas City Metropolitan Freeway System. The system will integrate with the Kansas Road Weather Information System and Highway Advisory Radio to provide the current traffic and weather conditions to drivers.
