PCS Network Deployment / Management

Black & Veatch Telecommunications Division has provided a variety of services for Alamosa PCS, an affiliate of Sprint PCS, through our continuing service agreement. The services provided by Black & Veatch Telecommunications Division included the following:

• Wisconsin. Black & Veatch Telecommunications Division provided program management of the development of a wireless network in multiple Wisconsin markets. Black & Veatch Telecommunications Division's role included coordination of all activities, including site acquisition through construction, functioning as the "Owner's Representative" in these markets.
• Missouri. Black & Veatch Telecommunications Division provided inspection and documentation services and reviewed approximately 225 sites throughout Missouri. In this role, Black & Veatch Telecommunications Division was responsible for site reviews and assessments to determine the compatibility of a recent network acquisition by Alamosa PCS with prescribed Alamosa PCS/Sprint PCS criteria.
• New Mexico. Black & Veatch Telecommunications Division provided Alamosa PCS with complete turnkey deployment of PCS sites on a demanding time schedule in three New Mexico cities.
