This project includes 316 miles (510) km of double circuit line and nine substations. Black & Veatch services included design and technical transfer, supply, construction management, construction inspection and contract negotiation.

The Tenaga Nasional Berhad project has used 100 percent non-US suppliers and contractors, and all International Electrotechnical Commission / British Standards.

Services for engineering and construction management for follow-on phases will continue through the year 2002.
