Gadong Power Station Extension

Associated with the power station extension was the construction of a new 66 kV GIS substation, as well as a new 11 kV GIs distribution substation.

As part of the overall turnkey contract for the substation portion of the project, Black & Veatch services included conceptual design, detail design and preparation of equipment procurement and construction contracting documents for the GIs equipment, protective relaying and XLPE cable and accessories. The project was scheduled for completion in stages coordinated with the commercial operation of the new combustion turbine units.
