Project
Black & Veatch in joint venture with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries
(MHI) and Mitsubishi Corporation provided engineering, procurement and
construction (EPC) with Tuas Power Ltd. for a nominal 720 MW combined
cycle combustion turbine generating facility. MHI is supplying the 701
F Class combustion turbine that will function on natural gas with backup
oil firing capability.
Lindsay Hill Generating Station
Black & Veatch and Gilbert Industrial Corporation provided services
for the 840 MW Tenaska Lindsay Hill Generating Station by Tenaska Alabama
Partners, L. P. The combined cycle facility is located in Autauga County,
Ala. General Electric 7F model turbines are being utilized in a 3-on-1
configuration with selective catalytic reduction in the heat recovery
steam generators. The primary fuel is gas, with fuel oil serving as
backup.
Overland Contracting Inc., a Black & Veatch affiliate, and Gilbert
Industrial Corporation have formed GBV-Alabama a joint venture partnership
for the project. GBV-Alabama performed engineering, procurement and
construction services.
