New Madrid Project is a turnkey SCR project. Black & Veatch Construction, Inc. (BVCI) and J.S. Alberici Construction Company, Inc. (JSA) configured an aggressive NOx reduction, as well as improving boiler heat rate and maintaining fan draft margins. This significant accomplishment was achieved by incorporating a new regenerative "SCR ready" air heater to replace the existing tubular air heater.
