Rio Taquesi Hydroelectric Project is a two (in-cascade) run of river plants, with sufficient daily storage capacity to permit their synchronized peak operation for five hours per day during the dry season. The two plants, located in Bolivia, have a total installed capacity of 84.8 MW at unity power factor at the generator terminals. Black & Veatch, in joint venture with Colenco Power Engineering,
provided engineering, procurement and construction.
