Black & Veatch has worked on high profile airport security projects, which have incorporated both passive and active security solutions, such as the Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv, Israel and the Washington National Airport in Washington, D.C.

Currently, Black & Veatch is involved with a contract to provide architectural and engineering services on five projects related to the U.S. National Missile Defense (NMD) program. To date, Black & Veatch has completed designs for the Missile Test Facilities, Ground-Based Radar Prototype Facility, Space-Based Laser Test Facility, NMD Deployment Facilities and X-Band Radar Facilities to be constructed at various locations yet to be confirmed.

Black & Veatch has also provided security engineering solutions for US national monuments such as Mount Rushmore and the Smithsonian Institution.
