Overland Park, KS. (November 10, 2005) – Black & Veatch Corporation, a leading global engineering, consulting and construction company, has added two senior-level project managers to support growth in the energy market. Within B&V Energy, Prahlad Kaushik has been named Project Manager in the combustion turbine business line; and Edward Lauzon was named Project Manager in the coal business line.

Kaushik comes to Black & Veatch with significant experience in a variety of roles in the power industry, as well as the oil refining and petrochemical industry. He has extensive experience on projects around the world and a strong commercial background in both lump sum turnkey projects and cost reimbursable projects.

“Prahlad is an important addition to our project management team,” stated Larry Seibolt, Combustion Turbine Business Line Director. “He will lead large-scale, complex projects in our growing Middle East, India, Europe and Africa regions, as we anticipate significant growth and opportunity in those regions of the world.”

Lauzon is a Project Development and Project Controls expert, with 25 years experience in managing large, complex projects. “Edward’s breadth of experience and expertise covers a wide-range of power projects,” said Ron Ott, the Coal Business Line Director.
