Cynthia Morse of Black & Veatch Receives Award of Recognition from The Minority Supplier CouncilKansas City, Mo. (August 1, 2005) – Cynthia Morse, contracts manager for Black & Veatch’s Telecommunications business, received an award of recognition from The Minority Supplier Council (MSC) for demonstrating a high level of commitment to volunteer participation and attendance. The MSC is a 501 (C) (3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the development of the minority business economy in Kansas City, Western Missouri, and Kansas. “Since Cynthia joined our committee, she has not missed a single meeting and is actively involved in planning the learning activities for the MSC for the 2005 calendar year,” stated Committee Chairwoman Terry Richardson. “This committee and active corporate volunteers like Cynthia are vital to the success of the MSC as we are responsible for planning the logistics for all learning activities that include corporate roundtables, buyer/supplier forums and best practices workshops.” Morse joined the MSC’s Program and Planning Committee in February of this year and was the “Volunteer of the Month” in June. “We are extremely proud of Cynthia who has shown a strong sense
